1. The Alpine Fellowship Poetry Prize 2022

You may submit one poem or a collection of poems as long as all the poems in the collection speak to the theme.

"The winner will receive a £3,000 cash prize and will be invited to our symposium.
Runners up will be invited to attend the symposium and travel expense will be reimbursed at a total of £500. All food and accomodation will be covered."

2. Author of Tomorrow Writing Prize
It is an annual competition open to young people across the world who have completed a short piece of adventure writing in English.

11 and under - £100 plus £160 book tokens for your school
12-15 years - £100 plus £150 book tokens for your school

The shortlisted authors will have the work digitally published by the contest organizer's partners at global literacy charity, WorldReader.

3. Robert Walker Prize for Essays in Law
Topic: What responsibilities in connection with the environment and sustainability, if any, should the law assign to owners and to occupiers of land?

1. Imagine 2200: Climate Fiction for Future Ancestors
Age: 18 years and above
"Stories may be set between today and the year 2200, and show a path to clean, green, and just future. We especially want to read - and share - narratives that center solutions from the communities most impacted by climate change and stories that envision what a truly equitable, decolonized society could look like.
We're are also especially interested in cultural authenticity (a deep sense of place, customs, and more); rich characters with interesting identities; and stories that challenge the status quo in which wealth and power are built on extraction, oppression, and violence."

1. The Foyle Young Poets of the Year Award 2022
Age: 11-7 years old
They're accepting entries both from individual poets and schools.
"The top 15 Foyle winners are invited to attend a week's residential creative writing course at a prestigious Arvon centre or receive alternative mentoring, such as a poet residency in their school. All 100 winners will receive a year's Youty Membership of the Poetry Society, a range of books and other prizes. The winners will also benefit from ongoing support and encouragement from the Poetry Society, via publication, performance, promotion and access to a paid internship programme."
